Kudos to Kirk who apparently built his own home/cabin and installed the flooring with superlative results. What a stunning Cabin. That looks like a real dream place to spend some quality time.

It looks great and features Westhollow Canyon Oak in the main living space and Westhollow Prime Maple in the loft area.

A Cork Project from Beginning to End

I was in the EU this past year and watched a run of flooring coming off the production lines of Westhollow cork. Then I saw the same pattern installed in some photos and I wanted to share this front to back story. Those photos are here:

As you can see from the photos above the production process is highly automated and I photoed just a couple of the MANY quality control points. It is a great factory.

The photos below show a completed job in Tuscon, Arizona completed and photographed by Stephen Perrera. You can see the incredible detail work by the curved tile which is a key indicator of professional attention to detail. A masterful job to be sure!

Cork – beauty divine! Faro Urban Premium Cork Flooring

Some of the decors in the new Westhollow cork flooring Urban Premium collection are really something to see!

I was just taking notice of some of the styles available and I have to say that I get a real charge out of the FARO styling of flooring found in this new collection.

The randomized paver with some rich earth tone color really combine for an excellent effect. A home can really be transformed by adding something this powerfully designed, yet so subtle in terms of presentation.

Nice Application for flooring and education

I was impressed when I first saw this application that was made by Easy2 for us at iFLOOR (using Westhollow brand) to learn about laminate flooring. I think the future is going to include much more of this type of demonstration ability.
